Teachers from across Equatorial Guinea participated in English Teachers Workshops in Malabo on March 17 and in Bata on June 9.  At each location, the day long workshop, focused on American style English speaking and teaching methods. Participants discussed teaching methodology, curriculum development, and best practices for teaching in a low-resource, impacted classroom environment. Wrapping up the day, participants worked on language resources and curriculum development. 

These “Train-the-trainer” workshops provide teachers an opportunity to ask questions, try out new teaching methods, and interact with post’s English Language program. Several more workshops are planned for the coming months.
