Ambassador's Roundtable on Civil Rights

On February 27, Embassy Malabo hosted the second Ambassador's Roundtable, which focused on civil rights and civil society, cultural diversity, and racial equality. Panelists included the EG Delegate Minister for Culture and Tourism and special guest Michael Battle, the U.S. Ambassador to the African Union.  

A Voyage to the Mainland

From February 8-February 13, 2013, Ambassador Asquino visited Rio Muni, Equatorial Guinea's mainland territory. Throughout his journey, Ambassador Asquino met with Equatoguineans from all segments of society, and pledged the United States' continued engagement with the people and government of Equatorial Guinea. 

Ambassador's Roundtable on Human Rights

The first in Embassy Malabo's Roundtable series, the December 5th event focused on human rights, and featured panelists from the U.S., EU, and EG governments, EG civil society, and U.S. NGO Freedom House.  

International Education Week 2007

Ambassador Marquardt Presents Credentials

On October 01, 2004, His Excellency Niels Marquardt, the newly appointed US Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea presented his credentials to President Obiang Nguema, marking the beginning of his mission as United States Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea.
