Biography of Frances Chisholm
Deputy Chief Of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea
Frances Chisholm began her career with the U.S. Department of State in 1994, assuming the position of Economic Officer. She has served abroad in Mexico, Germany and Zimbabwe, and in Washington DC as financial economist in the State Department’s Office of Monetary Affairs. Prior to joining the Foreign Service Ms. Chisholm worked in the coal industry in Europe. Hailing from Massachusetts, she holds a B.A. in History with honors from Bryn Mawr College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, a M.Sc. in Finance from City University, London, and a M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics with distinction from Imperial College, University of London.
